Title:Toward sustainable and nutrient balanced agriculture – integration between crop and animal production

Summary: The lecture focuses on advantages and disadvantages of specialization in agriculture, optimum nutrient efficiency and flows in modern agriculture, the benefits of crop rotations and importance of growing legumes.

 

The lecture will concentrate on the following aspects of balanced agriculture:

1.      Advantages and disadvantages of specialization in agriculture

2.      Nutrient flows in modern agriculture

3.      Crop rotations and the role of legumes

4.      Intensity of production

5.      Optimum nutrient efficiency
